Mohair is extremely durable. It is so durable that you can often find antique furniture pieces that are basically held together by just the fabric! Mohair is one of the few fabrics that we recommend for cat-lovers, as kitty tends to not be able to sink its claws into the plush pile. Additionally, mohair upholstery fabric doesn’t pil or mat and is naturally resistant to dirt so cleanup is a breeze.
